Our history & mission
Since its launch in 2017, Feedconnect has met European farmers’ requests for a user-friendly feed management system. The system is intuitive and easy to operate and the benefit is an improved overview on feed-intake, efficiency and costs, helping farmers to increase their profit and save time on their daily feedings.
The start of the company
Feedconnect was created by Jesper Mortensen and Bjarke Eg Sørensen in Denmark. They have many years of experience in developing digital solutions for agriculture. Feedconnect paved the way for an opportunity to develop a digital product that creates value every day. Today, the company is owned by the English agricultural group AB Agri. Feedconnect is currently headquartered in Denmark with a development department based in Ireland and sales offices in England, France and the Netherlands.
Where are we now
Today, Feedconnect is a digital feed management system that helps more than 1,000 farmers worldwide optimize their feeding towards a better bottom line. Feedconnect is the only cloud-based system on the market. This means that the data is not on the farmer’s computer but on a central server “in the cloud”. It creates reliability and ensures constant access to the data. Feedconnect has 18 employees.
The road ahead
Today, Feedconnect supports more than 1,000 farmers. They feed more than 500,000 cows every day. But the potential is much greater and the ambition is to help even more people around the world optimize the daily feeding. We want to be the industry’s first choice and standard, because we know we can make a difference. Every day.
